LambdaOBD
Terms of Use
Last updated:
These terms apply to the LambdaOBD app (“the app”), published by CodexStudio, Greece. By using the app you agree to them.
What the app is
The app reads diagnostic information from your car through an OBD-II adapter and presents it, with guided checks for some faults. It is an information tool. It is not a mechanic, it does not repair anything, and its explanations and suggestions are not a professional inspection.
Your responsibility
- Decisions about your car’s maintenance and repair are yours. When in doubt, ask a qualified mechanic.
- Clearing fault codes is your choice. It does not fix a fault, it erases stored diagnostic data, and it resets readiness monitors that some inspections check.
- Do not handle the app while driving. The driving view is designed to be glanced at, not operated. Set it up before you set off, and follow the law on using devices while driving.
- Use an adapter that suits your car, and plug it in and remove it with care.
Compatibility
What the app can show depends on your car, its engine computer and your adapter. Not every car reports every value, and some adapters do not work reliably. A list of features is not a promise that each one works with every car.
Purchases
The app is free to download. LambdaOBD Pro is a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play that unlocks the Pro features, including those added later; there is no subscription. Payment, refunds and your purchase are handled by Google Play under its terms; we do not process payments.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, CodexStudio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for damage to a vehicle, or for decisions made using the app, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for LambdaOBD Pro, if any. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
